Name: Kingdom Hearts
Platform: PS2
Genre: Third Person Hack and Slash RPG
Price Paid: Borrowed, then $17.99 - 10% Used
Would Pay: $34.95
A good hack and slash with an interesting back story. It takes some getting used to, seeing Donald Duck fighting Cloud, but once past that idea, its a fun game. It's not perfect, with a relatively low number of enemy types, bad camera controls, some bosses that are button mashing, and strange final battle, but it's a great way to blow a few hours. It's a fairly long game, with 50 hours of play until I got my character equipped and to a level where I was willing to take on the final bosses.
Its sequel is on the short list of games I'm willing to pay full price for when it comes out.

A question..
Date: 2004-09-06 06:02 pm (UTC)I am in the process of buying a game platform for myself, and have no clue which is better. For the record, I prefer space-based games and flight simulators best.
Thanks in advance, and thanks for being out there..

For true simulators, and not arcade, I would say PC (sorry). For arcade type, probably X-Box. Secret Weapons of Normandy is cross platform, and there's an MS one for the X-Box that slips my mind right now (Crimson Tide?)
Space Games is a little generic. Ship Battles? Squad combat? FPS? Just sci-fi themed? There's always the StarFleet Battles based games, I think there's a couple of those for PS2, those may be cross platform.
